Ice Tec 310™ is the second generation of synthetic ice, and has been sold in the synthetic ice industry for fifty years or more. Since the introduction of Ice Tec 310™ and the first generation, known as Super Slick HD, great advancements have been made to the quality of synthetic ice skating products with regards to skating performance and versatility; however, both are still readily available in the synthetic ice industry. They are often marketed by different companies under a variety of names.

Ice Tec 310™ is a slightly textured material, which eliminates some of the resistance felt from a skater.s blade, thus allowing a faster glide when compared to Super Slick HD™. As with all synthetic ice products, the use of EZ Glide Enhancer will further increase gliding capabilities. Skating limitations will exist with regards to using Ice Tec 310™; however, certain skills performed on refrigerated ice can be accomplished if the surface is properly prepared. These skills include stick handling and starting drills, footwork drills, goalie practice, conditioning / interval drills, edge quality exercises and turning drills. Conditioning and plyometrics on the dry Ice Tec 310™ surface are possible with or without wearing equipment.

Ice Tec 310™ is available for indoor use in the Square Edge, Spline and DoveTail styles. It comes with a 5 year limited warranty against manufacturer.s defect.
